This week on the podcast we have our first ever (we think) three-time guest: the formidable Diane Josefowicz! Whereas before Diane has come on to discuss her already-published books, this time she joins to us talk about a soon-to-be published book. Wild times. Diane is at work on a translation of Anna de Noailles’ La Nouvelle Espérance, originally published in French in 1903, and never before appearing in English.
It’s a very exciting project, and we get to hear all about it in this wide-ranging conversation. We talked quite a bit about the world of the French literary salon of which AdN was a major player, and took it from there. As expected, we rambled across all sorts of fun ground.
We hope you enjoy this conversation as much as we did. Merci !
