Introducing Miss Quote
Look out world
As promised last week in the Summer Quarterly, this week we’re introducing to the Cordelivres Club a new contributor to the Substack: Miss Quote. She’s here to answer your questions, dispense incalculably valuable literary-romance-etiquette advice, and completely change your life.
Say hello below, and write to her at missquotewillchangeyourlife@gmail.com.
Introducing Miss Quote
Got a problem? We got answers. Introducing Miss Quote. Is your father in law insisting on buying your toddler a track suit? Do you need money? Do you enjoy gentle ass play? Has your speculative manuscript about pirates been met with rejection after rejection? Do you have any conceivable reason for getting up in the morning? Miss Quote can help! And if she can’t, well, as the Bible says: “your body is not a temple, it’s an amusement park, so enjoy the ride!”
Miss Quote will be gracing these digital pages every week, more or less. If you have a question, a burning existential dilemma which you need answered at medieval speed by a semi-lucid literary persona…well then you my friend have come to the write place. (See what we did there?)
Send your queries, missives, conundrums, confusions, and delusions—send it all!—to Miss Quote at missquotewillchangeyourlife@gmail.com, and she’ll almost certainly be able to answer it here in the column! Because, to paraphrase that old Beatles song, “time is on her side.”
Tune in next week for the first Q&A—and in the meantime, stay critical!
