After a bit of a summer break, we’re back to recording and releasing podcasts; and what a return it is. This episode features the super talented writer Nora Lange joining the show to discuss her new collection, Day Care, as well as her novel, Us Fools. We further welcome back to the show to formidable Devyn Andrews, who has been here before to talk about Anna Burns and David Foster Wallace, and who covered Day Care for the estimable West Trade Review; Devyn is also a past contributor for L’Esprit. All the ingredients for a raucous discussion.
Which did not disappoint! We talked about Nora’s background and how she got into writing, and touched on Devyn’s review. We then went all over the place, and covered quite a bit of disparate conversational ground. At one point Nora got up to get more books to discuss.
